We are delighted to announce that submissions are now open for feature films, short films, documentaries, music videos, screenplays, photography, web series and television series, as well as special categories for AI-generated films, VR experiences, games and 360° videos, celebrating the latest innovations in visual storytelling.

The festival venue will be revealed soon. For now, we can reveal that it is a commercial multiplex cinema in the Venice area. The cinema features several state-of-the-art screening rooms, cutting-edge digital projection, immersive sound systems and premium seating, providing an outstanding cinematic experience for both filmmakers and audiences. Its modern facilities and convenient location near Venice make it an ideal setting for an international film festival, offering a professional and prestigious environment for showcasing independent cinema.

Please note that Venice Film Awards is an independent film festival. It is not affiliated with, connected to, endorsed by or otherwise associated with the Venice International Film Festival (La Biennale di Venezia) in any way. These are two completely separate festivals and organizations.

Invited filmmakers attending the festival can look forward to red-carpet photography, complimentary drinks, an unforgettable atmosphere, a professional host and hostesses, networking parties and many other opportunities to meet fellow filmmakers and film industry professionals.
